The international day of the girl child is commemorated worldwide with the dedication to empowerment and celebration of the girl child. This year REGARTLESS formerly known as Sysy House of Fame Celebrated the Day with Plan International, empowering young girls in taking leadership positions in the creative industry especially in those fields considered for men. The day witnessed a take over from Rachida, a Muslim girl interested in film making. The take over exercise saw Rachida run administrative duties and directing duties at REGARTLESS formerly known as Sysy House of Fame for the whole day. With the participation of other girls from diverse backgrounds, the day was well spent empowering these girls.
